A dead dolphin has been found washed up on a popular beach in south Donegal.
The grim discovery was made by locals out walking on Murvagh beach in recent days.
The carcass of the mammal is the latest in a number of similar discoveries made along the North West coast this year.
In May, a dead dolphin was also reported on Rosses Point beach in Sligo.
The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group has been notified of incident.
