Gardai have opened an investigation after the body of a man in his 40s was found in North Leitrim.
The man’s body was discovered on ‘open land’ in Kiltyclogher, on Saturday afternoon.
It’s understood that Gardai and emergency service attended the scene at around 2.30pm on Saturday.
The scene has been closed off and a technical examination by the Garda Technical Bureau will be conducted
A post mortem is also expected to take place and the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
