Donegal’s postponed U20 game refixed for Saturday

Donegal’s postponed Ulster under-20 football championship game with Armagh has been refixed for this Saturday afternoon (April 13th) at 3pm.

The venue has still to be finalised.

Wednesday evening’s fixture was called off because MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey was deemed unplayable.

Both Armagh and Donegal have won their opening two Group B games and are already assured of places in the knockout stages.

The head-to-head game will determine who finishes top of Group B – to qualify directly for the provincial semi-finals.

The other Group B game went ahead on Wednesday evening, with Cavan edging out Fermanagh by 2-9 to 1-11.

Separately, Donegal minor footballers Ulster Championship game against Tyrone this Saturday, April 13th, will be played at Fr Tierney Park in Ballyshannon at 12 noon.

The game was originally fixed for MacCumhaill Park – but as the Ballybofey venue is currently unplayable, the game moves to Ballyshannon.

Barry Ward’s side won their opening round-robin game against Fermanagh last weekend.
