A man in his 50s has died after falling while hill-walking in Donegal.
The man, who was walking with another man, fell at Cró Nimhe, near Dunlewey at around 1pm yesterday afternoon, and sustained fatal injuries.
He was brought to the mortuary at Letterkenny University Hospital following a rescue operation.
The local coroner has been informed and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.
The second man also sustained injuries in the incident, but these are not believed to be life threatening.
