Well its the day after St Patricks Day. What a one we had yeterday. Weather wise it was the sunniestt one we’ve had in recent years and as a result crowds were way up across the region. As I was working yesterday from 7am until after 1pm I missed out on the early parade’s. However I was fortunate to make it to The Kesh and Drumshanbo Parades. Dessie Foley was back doing his thing, entertaining the crowds at in Keshcarrigan while RTE were flat to the mat trying to keep up with him. I don’t think I have seen as many Honda 50’s in one place at one time. When these motorbikes came out first they cost 72 pound today a cgood condition one can fetch up to 800 euro. The Meteors were also on last night in the 02. Westlife won another gong, The script picked up 2,  Sharon Shannon and Niall Stokes aloso picked up a gong each well done to all thoroughly deserved. U2 tickets for croker’s 360 tour on sale this Friday 8am for both gigs July 24th&25th and bet you a fiver 26th aswell. Best of luck ifd your in the que already………………..

Well hope your week has started well? It was all about the Oscars on this mornings breakfast club with Slumdog Millionaire this years big winner with 8 oscars. Kate Winslet won best leading actress for her role in the Reader. Penelope Cruz won her first Oscar in a supporting role. Madonna’s ex, ex hubby Sean Penn won his second oscar for  leading male role in Milk and Heath Ledger was named best supporting male for his part as the Joker  inThe  Dark Night. On Saturday I commentated on Leitrims win in Division 4 over Carlow in Carrick on Shannon 1-12 to 0-7.  As the score suggests this was a very one sided game.  Firday night also saw Ireland giving the go ahead to Sinead Mulvey  to repersent us at this years song contest in Moscow with Et Cetera. According to listeners they like the song however Mags wasn’t overly impreesed. Chat soon K

Well Hows it going now? Earlier this week weh had treacherous conditions for motorists with Black Ice on our regions roads. I took a few skids myself on the way into work on more than one morning as the R284 was like the 7up on ice rink. Thankfully by the end of the week tempertures have risen, however this morning we were met by Thick fog on the R284 enough on da wedder.

On Monday morning we will be kicking off our Free Music Monday as we have got together with Sligoman Tommy Flemming to giveaway a copy of his new album the best is yet to come on Double Cd. We had a few special guests drop into Studio 2 over the past few days. Studio 2 is where I spend the rest of my day 9am-7pm making ads and promos.

A special mention to the Donegal Vocational school team who lost out narrowly to Monaghan yesterday in the Ulster final.

My mate David dropped into see me today he was lost for words after his side Cholaiste Mhuire lost out on penalties to Tallaght yesterday in the All Ireland final in Athlone.

Great to see Paul Cook reinstated at the showgrounds.

Great to here Mickey Moran  state on this mornings breakfast club that The Ros game in May is his sides main focus this year.
