One of Sligo’s hidden gems, Coopershill House, is marking its 250th Anniversary and will open its doors on Bank Holiday Monday, March 18th, for one day only!    Take a guided tour of this fabulous privately owned Georgian mansion and self-guided walk through the surrounding woods to see the fallow deer. Tours will run on the half hour from 10am with the last tour at 3pm.  Includes tea and coffee. Adults €14, under 18s €8.  All money raised will go towards a new play area at Taunagh National School, Riverstown.  Limited Spaces Available.  Booking essential email: ohara@coopershill.com

 

The Churches of St. Anne’s and Carraroe Sligo host two special Padre Pio Healing Nights. The director of the Padre Pio Apostolate in Ireland Fr Brian Shorthall travels from the Capuchin Friary in Dublin with a glove of this special saint. Come to St Anne’s for Mass commencing at 6.30p.m. on Monday March 18th or join us in St. John’s Carraroe at 7.00p.m. on Tuesday 19th March at 7.00p.m.   Everyone welcome

 

The Rogues to Pogues Sing-a-Thon will take place on 15th March in Faley Mac’s Bar, Glenfarne from 8.30pm and in Supervalu, Manorhamilton from 1pm until 3pm on 16th March.   There will be a raffle taking place in both places.  Musicians, poets are welcome.  All proceeds to North West STOP.
