Do you want to go on tour with Nathan Carter? He’s the hottest name in country music and he and his friends are taking to the road this Autum to Kerry with Ocean FM and you are invited to come along.

This November 9th the Presenters of Ocean Country Big Bernie Kane and John Ryan will be taking to the road for a weekend of dancing and shopping in the heart of the Kingdom.

With luxury accommodation breakfast and dinners in the Earl of Desmond Hotel Tralee, shopping excursions and tours of the Ring of Kerry all included it’s an opportunity not to be missed.

Taking to the stage with Nathan will be rising star of the country music scene and regular at the Allingham in Bundoran Jason Travers of Clonberne in Mayo. With him will be his band led by Gerald O’Donoghue on steel guitar, Rogedr Brady from Claremorris on drums, Noel Clarke from Ferbane on bass, John O’Brien from Meath on fiddle and Noreen Ryan from Kilkenny on acoustic guitar and keyboards. 

Another well known and loved artist that will be making the trip to the Kingdom is the ‘Wee man from Strabane’ the BBC presenter Hugo Duncan. After exploding onto the scene in the 1970’s Hugo and his band have been banging out the hits such as the iconic tune ‘Dear God’ and many more. 

The best known family in Country Music, Crystal Swing, will also be heading for Tralee. Led by Mary Murray Burke with her son Derek and Dervla the band have received international stardom with their unique take on country classics as well as their own songs. “It’s really exciting to be heading to Tralee with Ocean FM. Myself , Derek and Dervla are really looking forward to seeing everyone down there”, she said.

A man well known in the south of the country for his love of country music Willie O’Keefe will be lending some local flavour to the line up.
A native of Lisgoold in East Cork  he played in his father's band so Willie grew up in a house steeped in Irish Country music.
In 1987 Willie came to the notice of Louise Morrissey who, at that time, was putting her new Country band together and he was offered the job as drummer and he has never looked back. Willie spent a total of seven years on the road with the band. While Willie was working with Louise, his talent as a fine singer did not go unnoticed.
Willie decided to record an album called Blue Eyes along with quite a few singles. Country music is a huge love for Willie and quite recently became a presenter on Irish Country Music Radio.com.

All these great acts, and many more yet to be announced will be appearing in two great nights of entertainment on Friday 9th November and Saturday 10th November.

The special tour price of JUST 225 euro includes luxury bus transfers from the north west to Tralee, access to both gigs on Friday and Saturday night, two nights accommodation, breakfast on both nights and dinner on two evenings. Also included is shopping excursions and tours of the Ring of Kerry and Killarney.

Both Big Bernie Kane and John Ryan of Ocean FM Country Jamboree will be on hand to make sure the weekend is a memorable one full of great craic, dancing, dining and shopping.
