Melissa Mahon murder trial continues

The trial continues later this morning of a Sligo man accused of murdering teenager Melissa Mahon, whose remains were found in a lake last year.

44 year-old Ronald McManus, also known as Ronnie Dunbar, from Rathbraughan Park in Sligo denies murdering the 14 year-old in September 2006.

Yesterday lawyers for the Prosecution in opening the case said Melissa was last seen on the morning of the 14th of September 2006.

She had been in care and staying at a residential home when she vanished.
