Tánaiste says “every effort” being made towards local job creation
The Tánaiste has said every effort is being made to create employment in South Donegal.
Mary Coughlan was speaking in the Dáil yesterday evening.
Donegal South West Fine Gael TD, Dinny McGinley raised the loss of 75 jobs in Ballyshannon this week at the Dáil debate.
It was confirmed on Wednesday that building contractor firm Likelys had gone into liquidation.
Ballyshannon Town Councillors plan to discuss the impact of the company closure with the Tánaiste on Monday.
Speaking yesterday evening, Mary Coughlan voiced her disappointment at the job losses.
