O’Keeffe invites Harney to Cancer journey demonstration

The Labour Party European election candidate for Ireland North West, Susan O’Keeffe has invited Mary Harney on a four and a half hour bus journey from Glencolmcille in Co. Donegal to Galway City on Tuesday.

This is to demonstrate the long distance many ill Cancer patients make for treatment and the lack of easy access to Cancer Care services in the North West.

Susan O’Keeffe will be joined on the bus journey by cancer patients, former cancer patients, local candidates and members of Cancer activist groups from the North West.

The journey will begin in Halla Mhuire carpark, Glencolmcille, Donegal on Tuesday the 26th of May at 10.30am, arriving outside The Abbey Hotel, Donegal Town at 12 noon and at Sligo General Hospital at 1pm. The journey will end at Galway Regional Hospital, Galway City at 3.30pm.
