FG campaign gaining momentum:O’Reilly

The Fine Gael Euro candidate for the North West has said he is confident the party can secure two seats in the looming European elections.

According to figures released by RedC conducted on behalf of the Sunday Business Post, Senator Joe O’Reilly is on 14 per cent while outgoing MEP Jim Higgins is on 19 per cent.

The numbers, which weren’t published in the paper on Sunday, were supplied to Fine Gael after the weekend.

Senator O’Reilly says he believes that momentum is definitely growing behind the Fine Gael campaign in the North West.
