Gilmore gives views on Bord Snip
The Labour leader has described the department of Rural Gaeltacht and Community Affairs as having run its course.
Eamon Gilmore was speaking at the Mac Gill Summer School in Glenties, last night where An Bord Snip Nua report was discussed.
The report recommends where 5.3 billion euro in savings can be made singling out the areas of health, education and social welfare.
Deputy Gilmore said he agrees with the majority of the recommendations including the abolishion of the department of rural and Gaeltacht affairs..
