Public urged to attend meeting on cancer transfer
An emergency meeting of Save Our Cancer Services North West will take place this evening at Sligo IT.
The meeting has been called following last week’s news that no new breast cancer referrals will be accepted at Sligo General Hospital from the 6th of August next.
The move comes amid much opposition.
The cancer campaigners have urged the public to come out in force tonight at 8pm.
