British Irish Parliamentary Assembly meet in Wales
TDs, Senators, MPs and public representatives from Ireland and Britain will gather in Swansea in Wales today for the 39th British-Irish inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
The recession and the issue of human rights are set to top the agenda.
Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams is also due to address the Assembly.
Donegal North East Fianna Fail T-D Niall Blaney is Co-Chair of the Assembly – he says the Eames-Bradley Report on dealing with the legacy of the Troubles in the North will be a major talking point over the next two days.
