Sligo gymnasts enjoy regional success
25 gymnasts proudly represented DyNamo Gym Club at the Regional Sports Acrobatics Finals held in Tuam at the weekend, achieving top results in every competition level. Coaches from DyNamo were delighted with the results, where 20 gymnasts received regional titles, and 18 gymnasts were selected to represent the West on the 12th December at the National ATT Cup Finals in Dublin. DyNamo now have the highest percentage of gymnasts on the regional squad, along with 12 gymnasts from Tuam All Stars. Congratulations to the following gymnasts who will represent the west at the National Finals; Rebecca Friel, Carrie Brennan, Rhiannon Roberts, Roisin Henehan, Ellen Murphy, Kate Morrissey, Claire Clyne, Brendan Martin, Elisa S. O’Connor, Christina Hegarty, Kate Kivlehan, Sarah Conlon, Lorraine McDermott, Danielle Kelly, Lauren Diamond, Helen Smith, Caron Ring and Lauren Copeland. DyNamo Gym Club are very strong contenders for Nationals, and one of the very few clubs in Ireland with gymnasts competing at the highest level of Sport Acrobatics, ‘FIG’. DyNamo Gym Club would like to wish all the gymnasts and coaches the very best of luck in their preparations for this prestigious national team event.
