Further flooding reported in the region

Major flooding on the Cloonaquinn Road between Manorhamilton and Dromahair has rendered the road impassable while flooding is also reported between Manorhamilton and Kinlough at Gortinar this evening.

In Sligo, the Strandhill Road, Knappagh Road and under the railway bridge on Knappagh Road are badly flooded.

Motorists across the North West are being advised to exercise extreme caution while travelling on the region’s roads this evening.
