French need to ask for replay: McLoone
The General Manager of Fáilte Ireland North West is calling for the French Football Federation to be lobbied in a bid to secure a replay of the controversial World-Cup qualifier.
Ballyshannon man Paul McLoone was in the Stade De France on Wednesday night for the now infamous ‘Henry handball’ incident.
In a statement this morning, FIFA confirmed the play-off between the Republic and France won’t be replayed.
Mr McLoone says the only way a replay will happen is if the French request it.
