Man still in custody following Fermanagh shoot-out
One man remains in custody at Carrick on Shannon Garda station in connection with a shooting incident between the police and dissident republicans on Saturday night.
The 27 year old was arrested in Rossinver yesterday afternoon.
Another three men, aged in their twenties and early thirties, are being questioned by the PSNI.
Shots were fired at the PSNI in the Fermanagh village of Garrison on Saturday night, the officers returned fire and none were injured.
It’s understood the attack was an attempt to kill a local police officer.
