Jobs package needed in upcoming Budget:FG

Fine Gael’s spokesperson on Enterprise, Trade and Employment has called for a jobs package to be included in the upcoming December Budget.

Deputy Leo Varadkar was speaking during a visit to Sligo today.

His comments come as the county lost over 400 jobs during the past month alone.

The latest casualty was the Tiscali call centre which confirmed last week it is to close in six months time with the loss of 160 jobs.
