Surge in calls to Rape Crisis helpline
The Donegal Sexual Abuse & Rape Crisis Centre has reported a marked increase in calls following the publication of the Murphy report.
The report published late last week found that hundreds of cases of abuse were covered up by the Dublin Archdiocese and other church and state authorities.
Sarah Donovan from the Donegal centre says calls to their helpline have seen a surge since Friday which continued over the course of the weekend.
