Long-term solution focus of Lawne Park meeting
A co-ordinated community approach has been devised to tackle anti-social behaviour at a Ballyshannon housing estate.
A specially convened workshop on problems at Lawne Park was held in Donegal Town yesterday, which was attended by county councillors, the Mayor of Ballyshannon, Gardai and relevant agency representatives.
A multi-point plan was presented, the details of which will be relayed to the recently formed Residents Association on Thursday.
Fine Gael Donegal County Cllr Barry O’Neill said it was a positive meeting, focused on finding a long-term solution to what has been an on-going problem.
