Bundoran group backing new taskforce
A new group of concerned members of the Bundoran community will be part of a drugs and alcohol taskforce formed at a meeting in Donegal Town last night.
‘The Bundoran Drugs Awareness Group’ was established amidst concerns over an increase in the cases of drug and alcohol abuse amongst teenagers.
Group chairperson Liam Fennon was at the meeting, which was organised by the Donegal Family Resource Centre.
He said the problem is not just specific to Bundoran but is spreading county-wide and action needs to be taken.
