Disruption to Sligo-Dublin train services
There’s been chaos for commuters on the Sligo-Dublin train line this morning.
South Donegal passegers found that early morning services had been suspended due to a signal fault.
The 7am service commenced from Longford at half past eight, however Iarnród Eireann says there will be further disruption to morning Sligo line services due to earlier cancellations.
Bus transfers are being put in place.
Irish Rail spokesperson Barry Kenny said work is underway to rectify the problem.
