Ordination of Achonry’s new bishop has been postponed

The ceremony that was due to go ahead on Sunday 19th April will be rescheduled until sometime in the Summer. Father Paul Dempsey claims “This decision has been difficult but it would not have been appropriate to proceed with the ordination at this time.”
