That’s mixed with the latest traffic information to make sure the commute is an easy one!
Add in the hourly “Ocean FM Entertainment Bite” at 4.30/5.30 and 6.30 and you’ll have all the showbiz news you need to know too! Daily at 4.40 Shane will keep you up to date on events in the region with Ocean FM’s Community Diary and at 5.40 will assist Ocean FM’s commitment to get the region back to work with the Job File.
If you’re a fan of 60s music there’s a chance for you to pick the daily “60s Song Before 6” at 5.45 by text or email. Just after 6pm then Monday to Thursday Shane spotlights the very best in Irish music both local and national with Play Irish. Shane recently moved home from Dublin after 11 years with radio station Q102 – he says himself his heart was always in Bundoran and is now very happy to be home amongst his family and friends. Shane is shore-crew with Bundoran RNLI Lifeboat and is also the Lifeboat Press Officer for the station which is why you might often hear him on the news giving details about lifeboat callouts. Shane is a member of the Donegal Surf Lifesaving team and also enjoys running and recently took part in the Cara 10 mile run which he completed in an impressive 1h26m!
