Adrian Marren named Opel GPA player of the month

Sligo footballer Adrian Marren and Tipperary hurler Patrick Maher have won the Opel GPA player of the month awards for  June.

 

Marren scored 2-6 for Sligo as they beat Galway in the Connacht semi final while Maher impressed as Tipp beat Cork in the Munster semi final.

 

Both Sligo and Tipp play their provincial finals this Sunday against Mayo and Waterford respectively.
