Bundoran Town Council request Cregg meeting

Bundoran Town Council is to request a meeting with the Health Minister and the Junior Health Minister about the situation at Cregg House in Sligo.

The Mayor of the council Michael McMahon put forward the motion at a recent meeting of the Local Authority following ongoing concern about the future of the service in recent weeks.

Earlier this week Minister Kathleen Lynch said it is not possible for additional funding to be allocated to address the deficit at the facility.

Mr.McMahon says he is delighted the members of the council supported the motion.
