Donegal County Council will host a reception for the Football Association of Ireland today in Lifford.
The event is being hosted in recognition of the FAI choosing Donegal as the location for their 2012 Festival of Football and AGM.
It is expected the reception will be attended by FAI officials and well known football personalities including FAI President Paddy McCaul, FAI CEO John Delaney, Republic of Ireland Manager Giovanni Trapattoni, Assistant Manager Marco Tardelli along with former Ireland international player, Ray Houghton.
The event will get underway at 6pm in the County House in Lifford.
