Investigations continue into halting site raid

Gardai says they are continuing their investigations after a raid was carried out on a halting site in Sligo on Friday morning.

12 members of the Gardai arrived at the Ballyfree halting site in Sligo to carry out a search of the area at 7.30 am.

It's understood nothing was seized during the raid.

Four males were arrested at the scene.

 They were taken to Sligo and Ballymote Garda Station for questioning.

They have since been released without charge.
