Leitrim hurling tie switched to Ballinamore

Leitrim’s opening game in the Allianz Hurling League has been switched to Ballinamore.

The game was due to be played as an attractive double-header with the Leitrim versus Offaly Football League tie in Carrick-on-Shannon.

But it has instead been switched to Ballinamore with a 12.45pm throw-in.

Sligo also began their national league campaign this weekend.

They are away to Warwickshire in Birmingham on Saturday.
