Man injured in fire transferred to Dublin

An man injured in a fire in Boyle yesterday evening has been transferred to the burns unit at St James's Hospital in Dublin.

The incident happened at about 4.30 pm yesterday evening in Deerpark

A man in his 50's was taken by ambulance to Sligo General Hospital, he was later taken to Dublin where he is in a serious condition in hospital.

Gardai say the incident is currently under investigation.
