Manorhamilton funding boost

North Leitrim is set to benefit from 309 thousand euro in funding for a new all weather Astro Turf facility adjacent to the Bee Park in Manorhamilton.

The funding was allocated for the North Leitrim Community Amenity Project by The Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government, Phil Hogan TD.

The project along with the astro pitch also includes flood lighting and spectator facilities.

Sligo-North Leitrim Deputy Tony McLoughlin is welcoming the funding.
