The hugely popular GAA Museum Legends Tour Series returns to Croke Park for a fifth season in the coming weeks when former Armagh and Crossmaglen Rangers All-Ireland winner Oisín McConville revisits the scene of some of his most memorable moments in a glittering football career.
The annual series, which started in 2008, has been a huge hit with followers of both football and hurling, providing visitors with a unique ‘behind-the-scenes’ tour through the hands-on perspective of their hurling and Gaelic football heroes.
These special tours provide fans with an unforgettable opportunity to hear memories and anecdotes first hand from players who thrilled Croke Park crowds and became household names in the process.
Legends who have participated in previous years include Eoin Liston, Michéal Ó Muircheartaigh, Jimmy Keaveney, Babs Keating, Eddie Keher, Seán Boylan, Mick O’Dwyer, Jimmy Barry Murphy, Colm O’Rourke, Anthony Daly, Brian Cody, Brian Mullins, Joe McDonagh, Brian Whelehan, Bernard Flynn, Séamus Moynihan and Tony Hanahoe.

All tours include a trip to the recently-refurbished GAA Museum, which is home to many exclusive exhibits, including the Sam Maguire and Liam MacCarthy Cups, as well as the new temporary exhibition ‘GAA - A Global Phenomenon’, which is now open, running until Spring 2013.
