Michael Clancy appointed new Chief Superintendent in the Sligo Garda Division

A new Chief Superintendent has been appointed in the Sligo Garda Division.

 

Michael Clancy - received the promotion to the top rank yesterday along with seven other appointees across the country.

 

The Bunduff native previously served as Superintendent of the Cavan Monaghan Division for four and a half years.

 

He will move to the Sligo Division to take up the job as Chief Superintendent later this month.
