People are being asked to sign a petition in Sligo today to extend the opening times of the town's main cemetery.
The graveyard opens until 9pm during the summer months but this is brought back to 7pm between September and April.
People who are unable to go to the cemetery during these times are being forced to climbs over walls and gates in order to visit their loved ones graves.
The restricted closing times are in place following incidents of anti-social behaviour and criminal damage to some of the graves.
Marie Lowry, who lost her daughter Amy almost a year ago, says over 350 people have signed the petition so far this morning.
