Suspicious object found in Sligo

Gardai were called to the scene of an incident in Sligo town last night.

It's understood 'a suspicious object' was found in the Tonaphuble area.

The army bomb disposal team were called to the scene. 

A section of the Holy Well road was blocked off to motorists last night.

The road has now reopened this morning but Gardai are still at the scene.
