SVP assistance sought for school costs

The Sligo branch of St. Vincent De Paul is reporting a high number of requests from families who are struggling to pay education costs.

Members of the voluntary organisation say that a high proportion of the calls they received this month came from families who need assistance in paying for school items such as uniforms, books and the school voluntary contribution.
