Fixtures confirmed for All-Ireland club semi-finals

The GAA have confirmed the fixtures for the closing stages of the club championships in football and hurling.

Donegal and Ulster champions Setanta will face Waterford’s Ardmore in Navan’s Pairc Tailteann on Sunday, January 21, in their All-Ireland junior semi-final.

Connacht champions Sylane from Galway face St Mogue’s from Wexford in Dublin’s Parnell Park the day before in the other semi-final.

Donegal’s Naomh Colmcille will face Knocknagree from Cork in their junior football semi-final in Mullingar’s Cusack Park on the same day, while the second semi-final between Connacht winners Lahardane of Mayo and Multyfarnham of Westmeath will take place in Roscommon’s Dr Hyde Park.

In the senior grade, Connacht champions Corofin’s trip to London to face Fulham Irish in the All-Ireland quarter-final has been rescheduled for January 21 in Ruislip, having been postponed last weekend.

The winners of that game will face the Leinster champions – either Moorefield of Kildare or St. Loman’s of Westmeath – in the semi finals.

Slaughtneil will meet Cork’s Nemo Rangers in the other semi final in Portlaoise a week later.

That game comes a fortnight after the Derry club face Limerick’s Na Piarsaigh at Parnell Park in the senior hurling semi finals.

On the same day defending champions Cuala of Dublin will go up against Liam Mellows of Galway in Thurles.

In the intermediate hurling, Mayo’s Tooreen will play Kilkenny’s Ballyragget in Limerick.
