A Leitrim Cllr says she is disappointed with the Council’s new Tenant Purchase Scheme.
Fianna Fail Cllr Mary Bohan raised the issue at recent meeting of Leitrim County Council saying there are quite a number of issues with the new scheme.
She says one requirement is that tenants would need to have a minimum income of €15,000 a year and be paying PRSI in order to qualify.
Cllr Bohan is now calling on the new Minister for Environment to remove this clause.
