Residents in Manorhamilton have renamed a street in the town to mark the 1916 commemorations this year.
Lower Main Street has been renamed Sraid Sean MacDiarmada Street in honour of the 1916 Proclamation signatory Sean MacDiarmada who lived in the townland of Corranmore, outside nearby Kiltytclogher.
This afternoon a parade got underway to mark the event.
It paraded around the town with the official inauguration taking place at half past two.
The family and descendants of Sean Mac Diarmada as well as local residents were among those who cut the ribbon.
The army led the parade and were the first to march onto the new street.
