There are concerns about Garda resources amid the ongoing revelations of Garda malpractice in the force.
Last week serious allegations were made by Sinn Fein TD Martin Kenny about Garda malpractice in Leitrim.
The GRA locally told Ocean FM that of the over eleven hundred guards that have graduated in the last number of years only five have been appointed to Leitrim.
However, there are understood to have been more than 50 retirements.
Meanwhile, Donegal FF TD Pat the Cope Gallagher is calling on the Justice Minister to restore the Garda number in Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo to pre-2010 levels.
