A Bus Eireann spokesperson has acknowledged that there might be a reduction in school bus sizes or an amalgamation of bus runs.
There has been concern that because of a downsizing of school buses, there would be fewer seats available, with fears that so-called ‘concessionary’ ticket holders would not get seats.
However, Nicola Cooke, media and PR manager for Bus Eireann, told Ocean FM News there is no change in policy for the coming year.
But she did hint at possible changes.
