The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mary Mitchell O’Connor will be the special guest tomorrow night at what is Sligo’s business event of the year.
It’s the annual Sligo Chamber dinner, which takes place in the Castle Dargan Hotel.
The winner of the Business Person of the year Award, sponsored by Ocean Media, will be announced during the dinner.
The principal sponsors of the event are communications company Fastcom and Anuview.
Chamber President Des Faul says that by welcoming the minister, they will take the opportunity to highlight the challenges and opportunities for the business community in Sligo.
And he adds they will also be listening to the minister’s plans for the development of the area.
