St. Vincent de Paul says the demand for their service is up 10% on last year.

She has been speaking to Ocean FM following concerns raised by Fianna Fail Councillor in Sligo Seamus Kilgannon this week on the problem of people being forced to use moneylenders.
He says some of them are charging rates of more than 187%.
Rosa Glacken says the recovery has not reached the north west and she says middle-income families are suffering most:
