Michael “Mikie” Golden, Sheffield, England, and formerly of Drumacoo, Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon. Brother of Breege O’Dowd, Rathmadder, Gurteen.  Reposing at Kilgarriff’s Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen, today from 5pm until 7pm.  Removal to St. Nathy’s Cathedral, Ballaghaderreen, arriving at 7:45pm.  Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilcoleman Cemetery.

 

John Joseph Mooney, London, and formerly Birmingham, husband of the late Maureen Mooney (nee Melly), Charles Street, Sligo. Reposing at the Nazareth House Chapel, Church Hill, Sligo from 5pm today with liturgy of prayer at 6pm. Funeral to arrive at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday for Mass of Christian burial at 11.30am. Burial to follow in Sligo Cemetery.

 

Joan White, nee Bradley, Radharc na Mara, Strandhill and formerly Rathfarnham, Dublin 14. Unexpectedly at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at the Nazareth House Chapel, Church Hill, Sligo, from 11.15am on Monday with Service of Remembrance at 12 noon in the Nazareth House Chapel. Cremation to follow in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin, at 4pm.

 

Chris Campbell, Selacis, Letterbarrow, Co. Donegal, peacefully at her residence. Removal from her late residence today to the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Drimarone, for 1pm funeral mass with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu, if so desired, to the Alzheimer’s Society, c/o Gallagher Funeral Directors, Mountcharles, or any family member. House private this morning.

 

Wynona Rebecca Golden, Willow Cottage, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Main Street, Manorhamilton.  Remains arriving at Cloonclare Parish Church, Manorhamilton, for funeral service at 1pm on Tuesday, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard.   House private please, fresh flowers only.

 

Margaret (Peggy) Scott (Nee Conlon).  Peacefully at St. John’s hospital in her 90th year and formerly of St. Edward’s Tce, Sligo.  Reposing at the Foley & Mc Gowan funeral home, Market Yard, Sligo today from 5pm until 7pm.  Removal on Monday afternoon at 1pm to Sligo Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 1.30pm.  Interment in Sligo Cemetery afterwards.  Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the patient comfort fund , St. Johns Hospital, C/o Foley & Mc Gowan Funeral Directors.

 

Mary O’Connell (nee O’Grady), 18 Coopershill, Riverstown, Co Sligo. Peacefully in Nazareth House Nursing Home Sligo. Predeceased by her husband Joe and daughter Catherine.  Reposing at the Nazareth House Chapel today from 6.30pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Riverstown on Monday at 12pm, followed by burial in Townagh cemetery

 

John Mullen, Glasgow, Scotland and formerly of Kiernan Ave, Collooney, Co Sligo.  Peacefully at his residence.  Son of Annie and the late Raymond Mullen and brother of Christopher, Steven, Caroline and Andrew.  Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
