Planning permission has been granted for two businesses and an extension to Sligo University Hospital.
Sligo County Council confirmed that Voya Seaweed Baths, the Ocean Sands Hotel and the HSE had been successful with applications last week.
Based at the Maritime Centre in Strandhill Voya seaweed have been granted permission for the refurbishment and extension of their seaweed baths.
The seaweed baths employs 22 people and welcomes over 40,000 visitors a year.
A new Diabetes Day Centre is to be built at Sligo University Hospital at a cost of 920 thousand. The HSE confirmed to Ocean FM that this project will be completed in 12 to 18 months.
The Ocean Sands Hotel in Enniscrone will see the development of a new third floor which will include 11 new bedrooms, a new stairwell and elevator.
All of the works are expected to begin sometime in 2017.
