Matthew Stevens scored his first goal in a Sligo Rovers jersey as the Bit O’ Red overcame Gavin Dykes’s Ballinamallard United 4-0 in a pre-season friendly last night.
Kieran Sadlier, John Russell and youngster Mikey Place were also on target for Rovers at Ferney Park, while new addition Jonah Ayunga also had his first outing for the Bit O’ Red.
Next up, Rovers will travel to Galway United for a friendly on Friday, before taking on Longford Town and Cliftonville away next Tuesday and Friday respectively
