200 new jobs are to be created as part of a 50 million euro investment in Westport House in County Mayo.
Hotel Westport – which is operated by the Hughes family has agreed to buy the historic house and estate – which has been in the Browne family for hundreds of years.
The new owners say all existing staff will be kept on and the business will continue to operate as normal.
