Last night a number of the TDs in the North West had their say on a motion of NO confidence in the government by Sinn Fein and a counter motion of confidence by the government.
Fine Gael Ministers accused Sinn Fein of having a ‘new-found’ interest in the Gardai and protecting Garda whistleblowers.
Minister Paschal Donohue was one the very vocal Ministers who condemned the actions of Sinn Fein saying they consistently ‘fear stability and progress’ by putting down such motions.
Fine Gael backbencher Sligo Leitrim TD Tony McLoughlin was one of those who had the opportunity to speak out and he echoed those sentiments in condemning Sinn Fein.
