Thirty new jobs are coming on stream today in Charlestown with the official opening of a new service station in the town.
The extensive new service area is located on the N17 just across the border between Sligo and Mayo and includes a Supermacs, Bewley’s Coffee Dock and Fuel station.
A day of entertainment to celebrate the opening takes place all day today with members of the Mayo football team and Fair City star Ryan Andrews among the special guests.
The Minister of State for Regional and Economic Development, Michael Ring will perform the official opening at an event at the new service station at 2pm today.
